NIAGARA COUNTY SPORTSMEN ’S ASSOCIATION

              HIGH POWER NATIONAL MATCH RIFLE TOURNAMENT
General:  NRA membership is recommended but not required.  Please bring your Hi-Power
                 classification cards if your have them.  This tournament is NRA approved.

          EYE AND EAR PROTECTION IS REQUIRED

DATES:     April 27, 2008 , June 29, 2008 , and September 28, 2008
TIME:  The first relay starts at 9:00 AM .  There will be a second relay only if the first relay is filled. 
            The second relay, if required, will start after completion of the first.

         Late registration and shooting position assignment to be at the NCSA club house.

LOCATION:  2505 Lower Mountain Road , Ransomville NY  
                       about 2 miles West of route 429 adjacent to Bond’s Lake ,
ENTRY FEE:  $15.00 per match, which includes a $4.50 fee for NRA sanction

COURSE OF FIRE:  50 shot National Match Course (200 yd and 300 yd)
                                    5 Rds Sighting shots, in 5 min, SR or SR-5 targets, 200 yards
                                  10 Rds standing slow fire, SR or SR-5 targets, 200 yards
                                  10 Rds sitting rapid fire, SR or SR-5 targets, 200 yards
                                  10 Rds prone rapid fire, SR-3 targets, 300 yards
                                  20 Rds prone slow fire, MR-63 targets, 300 yards

RIFLE:  NRA match rifle (or Service Rifle), Rule 3.3 (Iron Sights)
RULES:  NRA Hi-Power rules will apply.
AMMUNITION:  The use of tracer, incendiary, or armor piercing ammunition is not allowed.
CLASSIFICATIONS:  NRA classifications will be used.
AWARDS:  Awards will be given in two categories:  “Sharpshooter and above” and “Marksman”
                  Unclassified shooters will compete in the higher category.  Awards will be given for first place
                    in each stage, in each of the two classifications.  Awards will also be given for the highest
                  aggregate in each category.
